Aims & Objectives:
Clondalkin Volunteer Centre is an independent volunteer centre to promote, develop and support volunteer participation in the general Clondalkin area. We provide information and advice to people interested in volunteering and to non-profit organisations looking for volunteers. We advertise vacancies, advise people on their options and help organisations support their volunteers. Our mission is to offer equal opportunities to all sections of the community to participate in meaningful voluntary activity.

WHAT DO WE DO FOR VOLUNTEERS?
A volunteer may access our website and database of volunteering opportunities without having to make a commitment. Get information on many different local volunteering opportunities and chose the one the best suits them. Find out the how, why and where of volunteering and the rights and responsibilities of a volunteer. Get ongoing support and advice throughout their time volunteering.

WHAT DO WE DO FOR VOLUNTARY AND COMMUNITY GROUPS?
We help with finding and recruiting the right volunteers for your organisation.
Provide information on your rights and obligations as a voluntary or community group and the best practice in voluntary activity.
Provide a free training course in recruiting and retaining volunteers, volunteer management, volunteer support and supervision.
We provide support, advice and information on volunteer policy development.
We can help with any issues around taking on volunteers for the first time, help with developing new projects involving volunteers or review your current procedures.
We can visit and talk to you about anything to do with volunteering, such as references, good practice, expenses....and much more.
Volunteer organisations, community groups and clubs can register their volunteering opportunities with us for free. Voluntary groups may participate in our free training workshops.
